The congresswoman claims that “Yermak effectively took control of all institutions and threatens anyone who opposes the government with criminal cases and prison, and also uses his state powers to eliminate political opponents.”
“I have heard about many of these problems in the USA, Europe and Ukraine before, but recently I experienced them firsthand. It's one thing for his team to smear me on their government-controlled TV channels – it's not the first time for me as a politician – but they didn't stop there. Now they have decided to attack people who were simply “lucky” to meet me at some point and who are not their political puppets,” says Spartz.
