President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky condemned the Russian missile attack on Odesa, in particular, the port where the first batch of grain for export was stored.
“Today's Russian missile attack on Odesa, on our port, is cynical – turned out to be a blow also to the political positions of Russia itself. If someone in the world could still say that some kind of dialogue with it, with Russia, some kind of agreements are needed, see what is happening. Today's Russian Calibers have destroyed the very possibility for such statements,” he emphasized during the evening address.
Zelensky drew attention to the “absolute unanimity of the world's reaction to this strike,” which indicates that the statement about no one believes in the non-involvement of the Russian Federation.
The President also reminded that the buildings of the Odessa Art Museum were damaged by the blast wave.
“The rockets hit very close to the historical objects of Odessa – with what is an asset not only for Ukrainian culture, but also for the culture of Europe . This obvious Russian barbarism brings us even closer to obtaining exactly the weapons we need for our victory,” he concluded.
