We remind you that on July 19, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine voted for the dismissal of Ivan Bakanov from the post of head of the Security Service of Ukraine and  Iryna Venediktova from the post of Prosecutor General of Ukraine. Both initiatives were introduced to the parliament by President Volodymyr Zelenskyi.

The recent doublet of the president regarding the head of the Security Service of Ukraine and the prosecutor general caused a lot of noise. What is actually hidden behind this casting? Who will take the position, the powers and influence of which can fundamentally change the situation in the rotten law enforcement system of the country? Is the president of a warring country turning the internal rudder on the path of reforms, or is he faking it, satisfying the interests of his immediate entourage? The answers to these questions can be found in the material by Oleksandr Lemyenov“Prosecutor General's bed: sometimes we lengthen it, sometimes we shorten it”.
