Kharkiv agreements: ex-ministers Lavrynovych and Hryshchenko were declared wanted, Interpol red cards were issued to them

Both former officials left Ukraine this year.

Ex-Minister of Justice Oleksandr Lavrynovych and former head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Kostyantyn Hryshchenkohave been declared a state and international wanted person, Interpol red cards have been issued to them, spokeswoman of the State Bureau of Investigation Tetyana Sapyan said during the telethon. According to her, if they are found, Ukraine will demand their extradition.

“The investigation found out that the ex-minister of foreign affairs left Ukraine in January of this year and flew to Paris. And the former Minister of Justice left Ukraine in May. Their current location is being established and is a secret of the pre-trial investigation. But both participants in the criminal proceedings for high treason have been declared a national and international wanted person,” Sapyan said.

The next step and stage, according to her, will be obtaining court permission to detain Lavrynovych and Hryshchenko. After that, a petition will be submitted to choose a preventive measure in the form of detention for those involved in the case.

“And in parallel, the SBI investigators will request extradition and that they be declared wanted on the red line of Interpol. I want to note that the investigation into the Kharkiv agreements did not stop for a moment,” Sapyan added.

The day before, it became known that Hryshchenko and Lavrynovych were informed of suspicion of treason. Exposadors are accused of agreeing to the project of the Kharkiv Agreements without conducting a legal examination and side review of the interested bodies.

Kharkiv agreements were signed on April 21, 2010 by the then presidents of Ukraine and Russia Viktor Yanukovych and Dmytro Medvedev strong>. On the Ukrainian side, the main ideologue of their conclusion was the then First Deputy Prime Minister Andriy Klyuev, with the support of the Secretary of the Russian National Security and Defense Intelligence Service Raisa Bogatyreva, who was inherited by Viktor Yanukovych from Viktor Yushchenko, and, of course, premiere of Mykola Azarov. The foreign policy direction in President Yanukovych's administration was overseen by Andriy Honcharuk, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs was headed by Kostyantyn Hryshchenko.

One of the main developers and promoters of the Kharkiv Agreements, who had a hand in their writing, was Ruslan Demchenko – the then Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, who until recently was the first deputy secretary of the National Security Service of Ukraine Olexii Danilov and head of the intelligence committee. The day before, President Volodymyr Zelenskyi fired Ruslan Demchenko.from the position of the first deputy secretary of the National Security Council, and also removed from the position of the head of the intelligence committee.

In addition, at the disposal ZN.UAthere are copies of a number of documents with the signatures of not only fugitives ex-president Viktor Yanukovych and ex-prime minister Mykola Azarov. As can be seen from the documents on the approval of the draft CMU order “On the approval of the draft “Agreement between Ukraine and the Russian Federation on the issue of the presence of the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Federation on the territory of Ukraine” and the draft of this same agreement, the heads of the following ministries and departments also contributed to the preparation of these documents: of Foreign Affairs – Kostyantyn Hryshchenko, Justice – Oleksandr Lavrynovych, Finance – Fyodor Yaroshenko, Economy – Vasyl Tushko, Fuel and energy – Yuriy Boyko, defense – Mykhailo Yezhel, transport and communication – Kostyantyn Yefimenko, SBU – Valery Khoroshkovskyi strong>, State Customs Service — Ihor Kaletnyk, State Border Service — Mykola Lytvyn.
