The practice of alienating enterprises to meet defense needs may continue and further. This was stated by Volodymyr Zelenskyi in his evening address, commenting on today's decision of the Headquarters of the Commander-in-Chief regarding the transfer of five enterprises owned by oligarchs to the state.
“Today, a decision was announced regarding some Ukrainian enterprises. This decision was dictated by military necessity and was agreed upon by the Supreme Commander-in-Chief. “Five strategic enterprises are forcibly alienated for the needs of wartime: Motor Sich, KrAZ, Ukrnafta, Ukrtatnafta and Zaporizhzhya Transformer,” the president said.
According to him, some of these enterprises almost did not function, but now all of them will work for defense: they will repair and manufacture equipment, provide defense forces and restore infrastructure.
“I do not rule out other similar solutions.” — Zelenskyy added.
