UN: “Ukraine is a humanitarian paradox”

The organization is surprised that kindness and solidarity remain next to violence in Ukraine.

ООН:

UN Assistant Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs Joyce Msuya said the organization was struck by a “humanitarian paradox” in Ukraine. This was reported by CNN.

“Ukraine is a humanitarian paradox: side by side with extreme violence, we see extraordinary kindness, deep solidarity and tender care,” said Ms. Msuya.

She also said that the first UN convoy with humanitarian aid arrived in Sumy on March 18. The organization delivered 130 tons of medicines, water and canned food. A few days ago, a second convoy with food supplies arrived in Kharkiv.
