The Polish Prime Minister believes that the announcement of mobilization in Russia will only exacerbate the crisis inside the country and shake Putin's position.
Vladimir Putin's latest decisions as President of the Russian Federation have significantly shaken his position both within the country and on the international arena. Traditional allies refuse to support Russia in a bloody war against Ukraine, and the announcement of mobilization shows a desperate attempt to correct recent failures on the battlefield. Putin's regime is weakening every day and its end is nearing. This opinion was expressed by the Prime Minister of Poland Mateusz Morawiecki, reports “Polish Radio”.
According to the politician, the announcement of partial mobilization in the Russian Federation should have caused concern or even fear in Ukraine and European countries, but this did not happen. On the contrary, Putin's decision further testified to the crisis in which Russia and he personally found himself.
Moravetsky noted that the Kremlin dictator continues to destroy in the war in Ukraine ethnic minorities, sending them to the front in the first place. But such a situation will change rapidly after the announcement of mobilization.
In addition, the Polish prime minister emphasized that the Russians themselves, faced with a war at close range, expectedly try to avoid it. This is evidenced by protests and attempts to leave the country en masse. This further refutes the Kremlin's propaganda and destroys its main narratives.
“Against the background of increasing losses in people and equipment on the part of the Russian Federation, against the background of the recapture of their cities by the Ukrainians, Putin is driven to a dead end. The reaction of Russian society to the news about the mobilization is also astonishing. Literally an hour after Putin's speech, the Russian Internet was flooded with questions about how to avoid being drafted into the army. He knows it, that's why he makes such decisions. The Russian bear is in pain, and, unfortunately, we should expect an escalation of violence and a wave of Russian aggression in the near future. But this does not change the fact that Putin's regime is weakening every day,” concluded Moravetskyi.
