President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky addressed the Ukrainians following the results of the 151st day of Russia's full-scale war against our country.
Zelensky reminded that next week, July 28, Ukraine will celebrate the Day of Ukrainian Statehood for the first time – a day , which should confirm the connection of modern Ukrainians with many previous generations.
“More than a thousand years of state-building experience of Ukrainians, our culture, our identity, Ukrainian character. Now, in many feats of our soldiers, in the wisdom of our people in battles, even simply in the conversations of ordinary Ukrainians, we can see examples of the same bravery, attitude to life, to Ukraine and to the enemy,” the president said.
Chairman of the state called on Ukrainians to preserve unity and work together for victory.
“Ukrainians will never give up their independence. And they will not break from the inside, as has happened more than once. Not this time! Therefore, we are not relaxing and, as every day for five months, we are doing everything to inflict the greatest possible losses on the enemy and to gather the greatest possible support for Ukraine,” he added.
Next week, Zelenskyi said, there will be “further promotion of Ukrainian positions at the front, in diplomacy, in the economy.”
