Oleksiy Arestovych is neither among the full-time nor among the freelance advisers of the president and the leadership of the OPU.
The President of Ukraine and the management of his office have 46 full-time and freelance advisers, says the OPU's response to the request of “Ukrainian Week”.
Compared to June 2021, the number of advisers has significantly increased – 46 people instead of 39.
< p>Among the advisers are such public figures as Mykhailo Podolyak and Serhiy Leshchenko – both are advisers to the head of the president's office outside the state.
However, there is no Oleksii Arestovich, who continues to call himself that in conversations with journalists and bloggers, and to describe himself on his pages in social networks. Neither the authorities nor Arestovych himself have ever denied the way he is presented in the media.
Podolyak explains this nuance by the fact that Arestovych's position is officially called “advisor of the OPU”, so he was not included in the list of advisers to the head of the OPU .
