So, Maksym Kononenko was dismissed from the position of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the Kingdom of the Netherlands and from the position of Permanent Representative of Ukraine to the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons on a part-time basis. The former counselor-envoy of the Embassy of Ukraine in France Maksym Kononenko was appointed to the position of ambassador to the Netherlands in August 2021.
Also from the position of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the Swiss Confederation, as well as from the position of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine in the Principality of Liechtenstein, Artem Rybchenko, who held this position since June 2018, was temporarily dismissed.
At the same time, the Ambassador of Ukraine to the Vatican, Andrii Yuras, was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the Sovereign Military Order Hospitallers of St. John of Jerusalem, Rhodes and Malta on a part-time basis, although this position was traditionally held by the ambassador of Ukraine in Italy. However, during the appointment, Yaroslav Melnyk, who was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the Republic of Italy, was not given the powers of ambassador to Malta.

It should be noted that Iryna Venediktova, who was dismissed from the position of Prosecutor General of Ukraine in July, will probably be appointed as the ambassador of Ukraine to Switzerland. Thus, in August, the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Dmytro Kuleba, signed the corresponding application for appointment to President Volodymyr Zelenskyi.
