“It seems to me that the countries of the European Union, thanks to their unification and because of what has happened in Ukraine, are ready to impose an oil embargo,” Zelensky said.
He added that the European Union had managed to impose a coal embargo, although it had been postponed to four places due to Germany's position. According to Zelensky, the country will support the ban on oil under pressure from Europe and the United States.
“I think that with regard to the oil embargo, thanks to the combined pressure of the European Union and the support of the United States and Britain, Germany will still do it,” the president concluded.
