Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic integration Olga Stefanishina said that Kyiv has already submitted the first part of the questionnaire to the European Union, the answers to which will allow us to assess our ability to obtain the status of a candidate for EU membership. On her Twitter page, she noted that work is already underway on its second part.
“The first part of the questionnaire on Ukraine's EU membership has been sent to the European Commission. As promised by President Volodymyr Zelensky, Ukraine has completed the document in a week! We have already started working on the second part. I am proud of the Ukrainian government team,” Stefanishina wrote. .

On April 8, Ukraine received a questionnaire for EU candidate status. The document was handed over personally after talks with President Volodymyr Zelensky by European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen. She stated that this is an accelerated procedure, as relations between Ukraine and the EU are so developed that Brussels does not need answers.
