The Ukrainian president is asking for planes, tanks, anti-aircraft weapons, shells, missiles, etc.
The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky stated in the Parliament of the Netherlands that Ukraine needs weapons that will help expel the Russian occupiers.
“Tyranny must lose. And for that to happen, freedom must get all the weapons it needs to win, to defend itself. The weapons that are on the continent that you have,” Zelensky said, thanking the Netherlands for its support.
“Ukraine is grateful to you for the support it has already received from you, from your society, from the state. This support is truly unprecedented. But the war is so intense, Russian troops are so active that we need more… We need weapons to help secure our skies We need weapons that will drive the occupiers out of our land: planes, tanks, anti-aircraft weapons, shells, missiles, etc. I hope you will find an opportunity to help us, “he added.
Zelensky called on members of the Dutch parliament, society and business to tighten sanctions against Russia, close ports, stop trade and be ready to abandon Russian energy resources as soon as possible.
He also called on parliament to influence international institutions. “The crimes of the Russian occupiers must be answered by a democratic society,” he said.

Prior to that , Zelensky called on Australia to join Ukraine in helping with weapons .
