“Ukraine is critically dependent on the support of allies, but they are critically dependent on us” – Klimkin

Ukrainians must effectively seize the opportunity for full Western integration.

Changing the strategy of the West, public sentiment there, special emotions about Ukrainians, Ukraine must be used for full Western integration, said former Foreign Minister of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin. “This path is not self-evident. If we do not want to move quickly, there will be a temptation to put us off again, “removing the cream”, – he points out in his article for ZN.UA “War with Russia: five important conclusions after Rammstein.”/strong>

In particular, Ukraine will be a priority as long as the strategic weakening of the Russian regime continues, but this process can be completed soon enough.

“Together with the West, we must implement Bismarck's famous phrase about Russia: “Preventive war is suicide against the background of fear of death”, but we have the second, no less important part of this task – Ukraine as a success story. This war has shown that we are critically dependent on the support of allies, but it has created a unique situation where they are critically dependent on us. We should use it now or maybe never, “Klimkin said.
