Among them are tanks, drones, artillery systems; more Harpoon anti-ship missiles; and 2,000 missiles for the highly mobile artillery missile system (Himars), which the United States began supplying earlier this year.
When asked on Friday why the United States still does not want to provide Ukraine with ATACMS missiles, the minister Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin said the US is committed to giving the Ukrainians what they need to fight back against Russian forces, but said: “It's not just about one particular weapon or system.”
“It's about how you integrate these systems and how you integrate the efforts of different elements in the inventory to create effects that give the Ukrainians an advantage,” he said in Prague together with Czech Defense Minister Jana Chernokhova.

In July, Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov told the magazine that his country needed the ATACMS system because Russia has longer-range multiple-launch rocket systems. He said that his country had “passed the test” thanks to the successful use of Himars, the range of which is approaching 40 miles.
