The United States, the EU, and the United Kingdom will jointly oppose the supply of Iranian drones to Russia – the State Department

These drones are currently being used by the Russians in Ukraine, but the US is also concerned that they will be used in conflicts against other countries as well.

The USA, the European Union and Great Britain will simultaneously impose sanctions on Iranian legal entities and individuals involved in the manufacture and supply of kamikaze drones to Russia, with which its army bombs Ukrainian cities and infrastructure. This was stated by the press secretary of the US State Department Ned Price during a briefing on October 20, Voice of America reports.

Ned Price expressed concern about the threat posed by Iranian UAVs outside the territory of Ukraine. According to him, “these drones pose a risk and a mortal threat to Ukraine, but Iran's proliferation of UAV technology is a threat that goes far beyond the borders of Ukraine.”

The journalists also asked about the risk of Iran developing and possessing nuclear weapons, to which Price replied: “The point is that we support the president's commitment that Iran will never have nuclear weapons.
