Japan has supported Ukraine since the beginning of Russia's military aggression, both on the diplomatic front and in humanitarian and military aid. Due to the threat of Russia's use of chemical weapons against the Ukrainian military, the Japanese government has decided to send suits to protect against this type of weapon, according to the Ministry of Defense of Japan.
“Japan's Ministry of Defense has decided to provide the Ukrainian government with NBC suits, NBC masks and drones. The struggle of Ukrainians to defend their country is still ongoing, so the Japanese Defense Ministry will continue our maximum support. For Ukraine,” the statement said.
