Law on Anti-Corruption Strategy of Ukraine< /strong> until 2025 entered into force on Sunday, after its publication on Saturday in the newspaper “Voice of Ukraine”. , the public and business have already started joint work on the development of the State Program for the implementation of the anti-corruption strategy. It will define specific tasks for overcoming corruption and the authorities responsible for their implementation. NACP will ensure the most inclusive process.
In addition, NAZK will develop a special IT tool so that the public can monitor the implementation of the anti-corruption strategy.
Recall that in the first reading, the document was adopted in November 2020, and in the second only June 20, 2022. The president signed the document on July 7.
The anti-corruption strategy consists of four sections. The first of them is devoted to the concept of formation of anti-corruption policy in Ukraine in the next five years. Other sections of the document contain a description of certain problems and expectations of strategic results that must be achieved in order to solve them.

The law states that the anti-corruption strategy should contribute to ensuring coherence and systematic anti-corruption activities of all state authorities and local self-government bodies.
In particular, it should be elimination of duplication of powers by various bodies, temporary suspension of implementation of inefficient powers characterized by a high level of corruption risks. The strategy also provides for the digital transformation of the exercise of powers by state authorities and local self-government bodies, transparency of activities and openness of data.
According to the adopted law, a working group on anti-corruption policy will be established at the NAKC, co-chaired by the head of the NAKC and the Minister The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, and the composition of the group will be approved by the government.
Every year, no later than June 1, the Verkhovna Rada will hold parliamentary hearings on the implementation of the anti-corruption strategy.
