This is the first Ukrainian-American meeting in the 2 + 2 format.
In Warsaw, Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba and Defense Minister Alexei Reznikov met with their American counterparts Anthony Blinen and Lloyd Austin.
“We are meeting with our US counterparts Blinken and Austin in Warsaw with Alexei Reznikov. This special 2 + 2 format allows us to seek practical solutions in both the political and defense spheres to strengthen Ukraine's ability to resist Russian aggression,” he tweeted. Kuleba on Saturday.

Reznikov tweeted that this is the first meeting in this format. They discussed current issues and political and defense cooperation between Ukraine and the United States with Blinken and Austin.
“In the evening, we will also attend the US President's speech on Russia's war against Ukraine. Details later,” the Ukrainian defense minister said.
