Britain will demand that the Russian Federation fulfills all its obligations under international humanitarian law.

“I am shocked by the reports of the death of British humanitarian worker Paul Urie while in custody. Russia should bear full responsibility for this. Paul Urie was captured while on a humanitarian mission. He was in Ukraine to try to help the Ukrainian people. The Russian government and its proxies continue to commit atrocities. Those responsible will be brought to justice,” British Foreign Minister Liz Truss said.
As reported, British citizen Paul Urie died in captivity in the occupied territory of Donetsk region. The occupiers claim that the British citizen allegedly died alone.
