The Verkhovna Rada may consider the possibility the resignation of Oleksiy Chernyshov from the post of head of the Ministry of Development of Communities and Territories of Ukraine, Rukh CHESNO reports.
This is evidenced by the fact that the relevant resolution has already been registered on the website of the Cabinet of Ministers, and the Committee on the Organization of State Power has this issue in your agenda.
In addition, CHESNO managed to obtain a photo of Chernyshov's statement in which he asks to accept his resignation. The document is dated Wednesday, November 2.
As previously reported by ZN.UA, Chernyshov may be appointed head of Naftogaz instead of Yury Vitrenka, who was dismissed the day before. His candidacy has allegedly already been approved by the president's office.
“In order for the government to appoint Chernyshov as the new head of the NAK, he must first be dismissed from the post of minister by the parliament. Therefore, the possibility that instead of Vitrenka will be appointed acting for a certain time, and Chernyshov will become the full-fledged head of the company is not excluded,” said the interlocutor of the publication.
We remind you that on September 14, the People's Deputy and former Minister of of housing and communal services Oleksiy Kucherenko published an appeal to President Volodymyr Zelenskyi with a request to dismiss the chairman of the board of Naftogaz Yury Vitrenko. According to Kucherenko, Vitrenko's activities led to a crisis situation for the company and the Oil and Gas System Operator of Ukraine. Therefore, in addition to the dismissal of the current chairman of the board, an audit should be conducted of all enterprises that are part of the company – with subsequent mandatory publication of its conclusions.
