TSC should check the implementation of measures to ensure energy security provided for by presidential decrees.
The Verkhovna Rada voted to create a temporary investigative commission on preliminary consideration of issues of violation of the legislation, which led to crisis phenomena in our energy market on the eve and during the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, People's Deputy from “Holos” Yaroslav Zheleznyak said. The corresponding resolution No. 7594 was supported by 268 people's deputies.
As “Interfax-Ukraine” reports, among the tasks of the newly created TSC is the verification of the implementation of measures provided for by the decrees of President Volodymyr Zelensky, which are supposed to ensure energy security. TSC members should also check the implementation of measures to create an insurance reserve of natural gas, preparation for the 2022-2023 heating season.
According to the resolution, TSC will operate for one year from the day of its formation. At the same time, the investigative commission will have to read the report during the meeting of the Council no later than six months from now. strong>from “Batkivshchyna” – head of the temporary investigative group;
