His predecessor Starodubtsev will remain in the team as deputy chief of staff.
Today, May 12, the head of the National Agency for Oleksandr Novikov has chosen a deputy for the prevention of corruption (NAPC) – Artem Sytnyk, who will perform his duties in the absence of the head of the department. This was reported by the NAPC press service.
Previously, this position was held by Alexander Starodubtsev. Now he will continue to work in the NAPC team as Deputy Chief of Staff.
In NAPC Sytnyk will be responsible for the following areas:
- coordination of cooperation with law enforcement agencies and prosecutor's offices, including ensuring the consideration of substantiated conclusions on crimes, identification of assets of persons involved in military aggression against Ukraine;
- prevention and settlement of conflicts of interest;
- monitoring and control over the implementation legislation on ethical conduct, prevention and settlement of conflicts of interest.
“Artem Sytnyk is a man with unique experience in Ukraine. His return to the anti-corruption front of Ukraine is important for the full overcoming of corruption risks in the military and the post-war period together with the teams of the President, the Government and the Parliament, “Novikov stressed.

In 2015, Artem Sytnyk the first in Ukraine In an independent competition for the position of head of the government, he was appointed Chairman of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine. He held this position until 2022 and actually created this body with the team. NABU has prosecuted more than 1,000 corrupt officials. Among them are 6 ministers and their deputies, 13 heads of central executive bodies, 22 people's deputies, 70 judges and 94 heads of state-owned enterprises.
