The competition commission was approved even before the war.
Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal at the meeting of the Government on Tuesday, July 19, instructed the Secretariat of the Cabinet of Ministers to urgently organize the first meeting of the commission on selection of the head of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau.
“At the behest of President Volodymyr Zelenskyi, the election of the leadership of anti-corruption bodies in Ukraine has been intensified. Today, the competitive commission for the election of the head of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office approved the results of the competition. For my part, I instruct the Secretariat of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine to urgently organize the first meeting of the commission for the selection of the head,” he said at the meeting government.
The prime minister added that he expects the work of the commission to be quick and effective.
