Martial law continued in Ukraine

Another 30 days.

The Verkhovna Rada extended the martial law in Ukraine for another 30 days – until May 25.

The corresponding bill was introduced to the parliament on April 19 by the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky.

Martial law is in force in Ukraine from February 24 , when Russia launched a full-scale war against our country.

Last month, Zelensky signed a law on the continuation of martial law in the country from March 26 for 30 days .

Martial law provides for the possibility, in particular, the introduction of hours and access regime, prohibition of mass events, inspection of property and documents, confiscation of property for defense purposes with compensation to owners, violation of the right to secrecy of correspondence and telephone conversations, etc.
