The European Investment Bank (EIB) considers it expedient to create a separate executive body in Ukraine regarding projects for the restoration of Ukraine. However, procurement must be transparent and fair. Yulia Samaeva, editor of ZN.UA – EIB Vice President Tereza Chervinska writes about this in her interview: “The reconstruction of Ukraine will become a global challenge of an unprecedented scale.”

At the same time, she named the main condition for the successful work of such a body and the recovery of Ukraine.
“Accountable and transparent public financial management of recovery funds, transparent and fair procurement will be crucial for a fast and smooth recovery. We welcome decisions that help Ukraine achieve these goals,” she said.
