A monitoring group is currently being set up to analyze gas consumption and reserves in the country.
German Minister of Economy Robert Habeck has launched a plan for an emergency situation in the field of energy security in Germany. This was reported by Spiegel.
The plan provides for three stages. At the first stage, a monitoring group was set up to analyze gas consumption in the country and their reserves in general. The second and third stages may limit the gas supply to some consumers, such as large industrial facilities.
The plan was intensified due to the Kremlin's threats to cut off gas supplies to the European Union if it refuses to pay for it in rubles.
