The First Lady of the United States spent only a few hours in Ukraine.
First Lady of Ukraine Olena Zelenska together with First Lady of the United States Jill Biden May 8 (Mother's Day and Remembrance Day and reconciliation) met in Uzhgorod, according to Transcarpathian Regional Council in Telegram .
They visited a school in Uzhhorod, where migrants from those regions of Ukraine where active hostilities are taking place have settled.
“The visit of First Lady Biden is a demonstration of support for Ukraine by high-ranking US officials,” the regional council said. For security reasons, Biden's visit to Uzhhorod was not announced and was closed to the media. There were only representatives of the White House press service. Biden administration reporter Tyler Pager posted a few photos from the meeting.
