“In 2019, the information space was flooded with “sensational” reports about alleged “pressure from the US Embassy on law enforcement agencies in Ukraine” and “corruption in the Burisma corporation,” the NABU press service reminds. – They were voiced by a Ukrainian people's deputy, but their target was the then US presidential candidate Joe Biden.”
Experts of NABU and SAP established that there is a Russian trace in this case. Derkach himself made money from this story 567,000 dollars. But since the suspect is hiding from the investigation, he was declared wanted.

In the spring of 2019, ex-regionalAndriy Derkach released audio materials, which allegedly testified to the influence of former US Vice President Joseph Biden on the fifth president of Ukraine, Petro Poroshenko. According to the deputy, one of the topics of the recordings refers to “receiving $1 billion in exchange for preserving Burisma's schemes and international corruption.” He claimed that the records allegedly date back to 2015-2016 and refer to the need to fire then-Prosecutor General Viktor Shokin, “who investigated the Burisma case and sided with Biden.”
