A meeting between Ukrainian defense and foreign ministers and their American counterparts has now begun.
US President Joe Biden will meet with Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba on March 26 in Warsaw, the White House press pool said. The US president is also scheduled to meet with Ukrainian Defense Minister Alexei Reznikov.
It is stated that the meeting will be attended by US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken and Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin.
This will be Biden and Kuleba's first tete-a-tete meeting since Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine on February 24.
Ambassador of Ukraine Andriy Deshchytsia also told the Polish media about Biden's meeting with Ukrainian ministers.
“I hope this will be a fruitful and effective meeting,” Deshchitsa said.
According to him, a critical decision may be made during this meeting.
Meanwhile, Dmitry Kuleba said on Twitter that he and Alexei Reznikov had started a meeting with American colleagues Anthony Blinken and Lloyd Austin.
