According to Shulyak, after the victory, pro-Russian political forces will have to be excluded from the Ukrainian context, and other parties will have to become an interface between the people and the government.
Chairman of the “Servant of the People” party Olena Shulyak believes that one of the key contours of the new state framework is the need to rethink the role of both parliament and parties. She said this during an interview with ZN.UA journalist Inna Vedernikova.
“ First , it is a question of exclusion from the Ukrainian context of pro-Russian parties which are financed, in particular, by money of a mode. Unfortunately, only the war made us categorically disloyal to the presence in the political field and in the parliament of the same OPZZH. And we have to enshrine this position in law. Second , about the transformation of parties into a kind of interface that would connect the people and the government. Ideas for the development of the state, which are produced from below, through political forces (coming to the legislature and the executive) must be implemented, – said Shulyak. – During the two months of the war, we received more than three thousand requests on the ground. And, I confess, people were not ready for such activity either. But it is there, and we need to use it properly. Now, more than ever, we see who is who. Agree, there is a concept of the human factor everywhere. And the political field is no exception. Yes, on the example of Kherson, with whom we are in touch 24/7, we have seen how loyal and honest people can be who, despite the threat of death, will go to fight the enemy. “
So now you can see the traitors. Shulyak says that while some of her colleagues, together with the residents of the Kherson region, do amazing things to win every day under occupation and shelling, others (such as parliamentarian Oleksiy Kovalyov) coexist well with the occupiers.
” “Let the SBU and GAU deal with Kovalev, and we have made a political decision to exclude him from the ranks of the Servants of the People. And so it will be with anyone who even allows himself to question the interests of the country and people,” Shulyak said.
According to her, today the SN is not considering the option under which Volodymyr Zelensky will step down as president. It is important to understand that this is what should motivate the “servants” to turn from a leading party into an ideological one.
“Of course, sooner or later there will come a time when he as a person wants to leave politics. But Volodymyr Zelensky is not just a man today and not even just the head of a state institute. Zelensky today is a qualitatively new type of politics not only in Ukraine but also in Ukraine. He sets a global agenda on top of traditional ideologies: sincerity, reliance on the absolute value of human life, the complete absence of hypocrisy and double standards familiar to politicians and diplomats, and the ability to ask difficult and awkward questions even to leading leaders. Such an ideological position and political strategy is unusual and new for world politics, but it is the one that is gaining support everywhere, especially in Ukraine, and we are faithful to this position and strategy, and at every level of the party we do everything to support it. , answer her “.
She noted that in the traditional ideological coordinates, the “servants” adhere to the radical-centrist position, which was set, again, by Zelensky in 2019. This is active centrism, which is not a compromise between right and left ideologies, but mobilizes the energy of society for positive change.
“That's why today instead of party offices we have humanitarian hubs. Today, Mikhail Fedorov is in touch with Ilona Mask and other leaders in technology, so we are clearing the blockages of enemy equipment in Bucha and Borodyanka, rebuilding bridge crossings at an unprecedented speed, and tomorrow we will rebuild the country. about ten thousand people across the country profess this approach, this ideology, this strategy. It is inextricably linked with Zelensky, “Shulyak concluded.
