Even before the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine from our about ten people's deputies fled the country. Most of them are members of the “Opposition Platform – For Life” faction. This was emphasized by the Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada Ruslan Stefanchuk in an interview with RBC-Ukraine.
There are deputies who are on official business trips abroad. They represent our country in parliamentary assemblies such as NATO and the Council of Europe.
“And there are deputies who left the territory of Ukraine a few days before the war and do not return for one reason or another. There are about ten such deputies. Most of them are from the same political force. “Opposition Platform – For Life”, – said the Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada.

It will be recalled that on March 20, it became known that the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine suspended all activities of a number of political parties during martial law. The list includes “Opposition Platform – For Life”, “Sharia Party”, “Our”, “Opposition Bloc”, “Left Opposition”, “Union of Left Forces”, “State”, “State”, “Progressive Socialist Party of Ukraine”, “Socialist Party” “Ukraine”, “Socialists”, “Volodymyr Saldo Bloc”.
Later, one of its leaders, Vadym Rabinovych, stated that the “Opposition Platform – For Life” party had ceased to exist.
