On November 8, the mass media and social networks spread messages, and even screens of documents about the appointment of the supervisory board of “Ukrnafta”, after this strategically important Ukrainian enterprise, which was controlled by Ihor Kolomoiskyi, was transferred to state management.

Five people are named. And at least a few of them have reasonable questions.

According to widespread information, the members of the supervisory board of “Ukrnafta” in the era “after Kolomoiskyi” became:

    Member of the supervisory board of Naftogaz of Ukraine, which announced a demarche after the appointment of Yury Vitrenka as the head of the company.

    She held the position of adviser to the presidential administration, was project manager of the National Council of Reforms. At the same time, she was engaged in reforming the energy sector.

    She worked as a deputy ministerof energy and coal industry on European integration from February 2017 to autumn 2019

In particular, Oleksandr Hryban simultaneously worked in a state position and was a member of the executive bodies of a number of profitable enterprises.

      The media also reported on searches of Hryban at the end of October in connection with the NABU case regarding corruption in the distribution of humanitarian aid during the invasion.

      He worked in leading positions in leading investment organizations, in particular as the Director of the investment company Concorde Capital and one of the heads of the Ukrainian division of the Amstar International Direct Investment Fund with headquarters in the USA, whose assets under management amounted to more than $3 billion at the time of his employment. He implemented fundraising projects by such instruments as IPO, private placement, Eurobonds and syndicated financing.

      Banking experience includes the signing of more than 30 agreements on interbank lending with the world's leading financial institutions for a total amount of more than $300 million and the development of the financial and risk control system in the Ukrainian branch of the German HVB Bank. The total amount of assets in project management experience in various fields exceeds half a billion US dollars.

      In June 2021, he was appointed as a freelance adviser to the Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine.

      Participated in the preparation of Ukravtodor international loans, the development of a public-private partnership strategy, the preparation and implementation of intergovernmental agreements, negotiations with financial institutions regarding the financing of large-scale infrastructure projects in Ukraine.

      He was the first deputy minister of infrastructure until June 2021, until Oleksandr Kubrakov became the minister, who at that time included the deputy head of the Office of the President Kyril Tymoshenko.
