The number of affected residential high-rise buildings totals 16,577 objects (including 8,932 damaged, 7,645 destroyed).

Also, 125,688 private estates need restoration (including 45,260 damaged, 80,428 destroyed).

In April-May 2022, the government allocated UAH 1.45 billion from the Reserve Fund of the state budget for urgent works to restore damaged objects: Zhytomyr OVA (UAH 100 million), Kyiv OVA (UAH 400 million), Sumy OVA (UAH 250 million); Chernihiv OVA (UAH 250 million), Kharkiv OVA (UAH 250 million), Kyiv MBA (UAH 200 million).

Yes, according to the Ministry of Regions, as of today performance of priority reconstruction works, which includes, in particular, replacement and installation of windows and doors, repair of facades, roofs and roofs, on 2,453 objects with a total cost of UAH 940,121 thousand, in particular: in Zhytomyr region — on 1,039 objects (UAH 86,030 thousand); in Kyivska — on 734 objects (274,319 thousand UAH); Sumy — on 269 objects (173,910 thousand UAH); Chernihivska — on 151 objects (159,706 thousand UAH); in the Kharkiv region — on 259 objects (246,124 thousand UAH).

Repair and reconstruction works are also ongoing in these regions on 711 objects.

“At the same time a total of 500 million hryvnias have not yet been used since May, which directly indicates the unsustainability of the government-approved mechanism for carrying out priority works, as well as the inability of a number of communities to quickly use resources,” Inna Vedernikova notes.

Also already in autumn, the government additionally allocated UAH 1.3 billion for the Kyiv (UAH 600 million) and Kharkiv (UAH 700 million) regions, which will also be directed to priority works on the restoration of damaged objects, in particular to their capital repair and reconstruction, and to Kyiv OVA have allocated more than UAH 320.4 million in subventions for the purchase of construction materials for emergency emergency repair work at facilities damaged as a result of hostilities”. before winter, they did not receive help from the state in its restoration.
