Farmers in Ukraine will receive interest-free loans for sowing.
Sowing has already started in 11 regions of Ukraine, while last year it did not start at the same time. This was announced by Prime Minister Denis Shmygal in a video address.
“We are infinitely grateful to our farmers and everyone who works in the fields today to provide the country with food,” he said.
Also, according to the Prime Minister, measures are being taken to reduce prices for fuel needed for agricultural machinery.
Ukrainian farmers will also have access to interest-free loans – a decision already made by the government. According to him, since grain exports from the country have stopped, farmers need funds.
