Hackers attacking Ukraine use data from state intelligence, probably Russian. This was stated by Deputy Chairman of the State Special Service Victor Zhora.

He noted that hackers who attack Ukrainian state information resources and critical information infrastructure are closely following Ukrainian news.

They are also trying to use a high level of public confidence in the state against Ukraine. Hackers send phishing emails that mimic government support orders or government digital services.

“Only complex teams that use state intelligence data can react so quickly to the latest Ukrainian events and prepare such newsletters quickly. This is another evidence of Russia's involvement in cyberattacks on Ukraine, “Viktor Zhora said.
