When Ukrainian defenders on Monday, August 22, another attack was made on the Antoniv bridge in the temporarily occupied territory of the Kherson region, where a convoy of Russian trucks carrying ammunition was driving. Serhii Khlan, deputy of the Kherson Regional Council, announced this on Facebook.

“The Armed Forces did not just hit the bridge, they did it at the very moment when a convoy of Russian cars with ammunition was moving along it. People are calling and saying that they don't remember anything like this,” he said.

According to Khlan, the blow to the bridge was “very powerful” and caused the enemy's ammunition to detonate.
