The Russians are taking the loot across the Kakhov Dam.
In the south of Ukraine, the defense forces are gradually approaching Kherson, but the occupiers are building defensive lines around the city and are preparing for a tough battle. In order to eliminate the possibility of helping the local resistance movement to the Ukrainian troops, the Russians conduct strict checks in the region and kidnap people in order to extract the necessary information from them. In addition, the level of looting has increased rapidly in the temporarily occupied territories: among other things, the invaders are stealing historical and artistic values, reports OK “Pivden”.
“The occupiers continue their looting and destruction of civil infrastructure in settlements where the locals were evacuated. Testing the carrying capacity of the Kakhovskaya dam is carried out by transporting trucks with looted property – household appliances and construction materials, as well as the removal of artistic and historical values,” the summary says.
It is also reported that the Russians continue to destroy energy infrastructure facilities. In particular, not far from Berislav they blew up power lines and solar power plant equipment.
Creating unbearable conditions for the life of the local population, the occupiers are intensifying police terror, searching for activists of the resistance forces, trying to interrupt people's information provision in the conditions of the dismantling of mobile communication towers.
