The Italian government is preparing to provide a new package of military aid to Ukraine, which will also include air defense systems. Reuters writes about this with reference to a representative of the ruling coalition, who decided to remain anonymous.
According to the official, Rome is ready to send various types of air defense equipment to our country. In particular, we are talking about medium-range anti-aircraft missile complexes – SAMP/T, developed by Italy and France, and the Italian Aspide. In addition, Ukraine can get Stinger portable air defense systems.

At the same time, it is not yet clear how many units of such weapons Italy can transfer to our country. The government representative also did not specify the terms of delivery of these systems.
