At the beginning of August, the Russians military facilities in the Vinnytsia region were hit by Kh-47M “Kynzhal” air-based hypersonic missiles. The head of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, Serhiy Shoigu, confirmed the use of hypersonic missiles “Daggers” to strike “especially important targets” in Ukraine.
Shoigu said that the missiles, which have no analogues in the world, were used three times.
“It was used by us during a special military operation three times. And three times it showed its brilliant characteristics. Characteristics that no other similar missile in the world has,” he said on Sunday on the air of the “Russia-1” TV channel, “Anadolu” reports.
Shoigu added that the missile is capable of changing its flight path in both vertical and horizontal planes and develops a speed of more than 10 mach.
