On June 28, the Cabinet of Ministers approved the dismissal of the head of the Kherson OVA.
Acting Mayor of Kherson OVA plans to appoint Deputy Chief of Staff Dmytro Butriy. This was reported by MOST, citing a source close to the president's office.
In particular, MOST writes that Butriy's candidacy is being lobbied by the head of Ukroboronprom Yuriy Gusev, who headed the Kherson Regional State Administration in 2019-2020. The MOST interlocutor also said that Gusev is one of the beneficiaries of the funeral of the idea of appointing a military man to the position of the head of the Kherson OVA.
Well, he thinks so, “said the interlocutor.
If Gusev manages to reach an agreement in the president's office, Dmitry Butriy can be appointed head of the OVA, instead of the military, as planned now.

In particular, Butriy was involved in the decentralization process. In 2015, he was elected a deputy of the regional council from the BPP. In 2020, he was re-elected from the People's Servant party.
It will be recalled that on June 28, the Cabinet of Ministers approved the dismissal of the head of the Kherson Regional State Administration, Gennady Laguta.
