Brussels cannot consider Russia a trustworthy partner

< European Union authorities have developed a plan to reverse gas supplies to Ukraine and Moldova if countries face supply disruptions from Russia, according to Monday Bloomberg with reference to European Commissioner for Energy Kadri Simson.

“She told reporters in Vienna that the EU in the current situation can not consider Russia a credible partner, and therefore interruptions are not excluded,” – the agency writes.

Simson added that the EU is assessing the difficulties that EU economies and citizens will face if Brussels imposes an embargo on oil supplies from Russia.
