He was abducted by Russian troops on May 2.

Deputy Chairman of the Chornobayiv Village Council of the Kherson Region Yevhen Rodionov was fired from the captivity of the occupiers, the wife of the official Inna Rodionova said in a comment to Ukrinform.

“The man was released an hour ago,” Rodionova said. She stated that she spoke to him by phone.

On May 2, the occupiers seized the premises of the Chornobayiv Village Council in the Kherson region. Russian troops tore down the State Flag of Ukraine, broke locks in offices and hung out the Russian flag.

The head of the village council Igor Dudar was “searched”. He was hospitalized. His deputy Yevhen Rodionov was abducted .
