Roman Leshchenko has repeatedly appeared on the pages of information publications on not very pleasant occasions.
Telegram channel “ONews Ukraine” reports about the alleged resignation of Minister of Agrarian Policy Roman Leshchenko. The corresponding message appeared on March 23 at 19:00.
“Minister of Agrarian Policy Roman Leshchenko has announced his resignation. He has written a statement on resignation of his own volition. A vote in parliament is expected tomorrow. He did not say the reasons,” the statement said.
It is also noted that First Deputy Taras Vysotsky will be acting Minister.
We will remind, Roman Leshchenko several times got on strips of information editions on not so pleasant reasons.
Thus, in November 2021, the minister was assassinated. Leshchenko was saved from death only by coincidence .
Subsequently , the United States declared its readiness to cooperate with Ukrainian law enforcement agencies to help investigate the assassination attempt on a minister suspected of being a US citizen.
Another unpleasant story happened in January 2022, when the Ministry of Agrarian Policy had to determine the list of food companies that will receive gas at a reduced price. In the end, the list turned out to be a lot of strange contenders, which were discovered by the press. In particular, the gas sales of the disgraced businessman Dmitry Firtash was paid for as a food industry enterprise .
Roman Leshchenko became the Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine in December 2020.
From October 1, 2019 to June 2020, Leshchenko held the position of Presidential Commissioner for Land Affairs. Also in June of the same year he was appointed head of the State Geocadastre of Ukraine.
