The businessman washed sand and rubble in Ukraine and did not pay taxes.
The Security Service of Ukraine has seized the personal property of one from influential Russian businessmen, who, according to the SBU, caused significant damage to Ukraine and earned profits by illegally extracting sand and rubble. This was reported by the press services of the Office of the Prosecutor General and the SBU.
According to the SBU, companies led by a Russian citizen were engaged in large-scale extraction of sand and rubble in Kyiv and Zhytomyr regions. At the same time, taxes were not paid to the state budget of Ukraine, instead the profits were used to finance Russia's aggression against Ukraine.
“The businessman himself systematically justified Russian aggression, denied the crimes of the occupiers and became the founder of one of the Russian companies Minister of the DNR, “the SBU added.
During the investigation, it turned out that the attacker was involved in raid schemes of specialized enterprises of the subsoil mining industry of Ukraine.
The prosecutor's office said that it is investigating a criminal case on the fact of a group of persons organized by a citizen of, illegal activities related to mining, evasion of mandatory taxes and fees for land, withdrawal of funds and terrorist financing (h. 2 Article 197-1, Part 3 Article 209, Part 3 Article 212, Article 240, Part 1 Article 255, Part 3 Article 257, Part 3 Article 258-5 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine) .
The SBU added: “Systematic work is underway to bring the organizers and participants of this criminal activity to justice. The personal property of the Russian oligarch, assets of the controlled enterprises and illegally extracted minerals for the total amount over 1 billion UAH are seized ».

It was reported that the head of the Security Service of Ukraine Ivan Bakanov is likely to lose his post soon. Volodymyr Zelensky intends to dismiss him after a series of failures and due to the loss of Kherson.
