On the morning of October 8, on the Kerch bridge connecting occupied Crimea with the Russian mainland, an explosion rang out. A fuel train caught fire on the railway part of the bridge, and two spans collapsed on the road part.

The explosion on the Kerch bridge shows that the war against Ukraine has finally reached a turning point. It was not the fuel that burned in the fire on the railway track, but the myth of the “unsinkable aircraft carrier”. And the fragments of myths about the invincibility of the Russian army fell to the bottom of the strait along with the spans of the bridge.
