DTEK confirmed the shelling of two energy facilities in Ukraine, probably also referring to the Vinnytsia region.
Russian occupiers do not stop attacking critical infrastructure of Ukraine. In particular, on Wednesday, October 19, they launched rocket attacks on the Burshtyn thermal power plant in the Ivano-Frankivsk region. This was reported by the head of the OVA Svitlana Onyshchuk in Telegram.
“Unfortunately, today our region was hit by rocket fire again. We hit the Burshtynskaya TPP, which caused a fire. All services are working. Rescuers are on the spot,” – she noted.
According to Onyshchuk, no one was injured as a result of enemy strikes.
She also added that the road near the facility is currently closed. The authorities organized a detour through the surrounding villages.
Later, the head of the OVA reported that the rescuers had already managed to eliminate the fire at the Burshtynskaya TPP. “Thank you to our rescuers. We are working! We will win!” – she emphasized.
