Russian troops have stopped the offensive in the Kramatorsk direction due to losses, but are trying to strengthen in the south – General Staff

The invaders suffered losses in both equipment and personnel.

Russian occupiers are not conducting active offensive actions >on the Kramatorian direction due to the fact that they suffered significant losses of personnel and combat equipment, and the soldiers have a low level of morale and psychological state. This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the evening briefing.

There, the Russian military shelled Ukrainian positions and civilian infrastructure objects from tanks, barrel and rocket artillery in the areas of Siversk, Kryvya Luka, Serebryanka, Ivano- Dar'ivka, Hryhorivka, Zvanivka, Verkhnokamyansky, and Spirny.

They carried out airstrikes near Hryhorivka and Serebryanka, and also conducted reconnaissance with drones to study logistics routes and identify critical infrastructure.

At the same time, the invaders continue to try to regroup and strengthen their forces in the Novopavlovsk and Zaporizhzhia areas.

They did not carry out active offensive actions there, but conducted systematic shelling of civilian and military infrastructure in Maryinka, Pavlivka, Novosilka, Novopol, Malynyvka, Gulyaipol, Gulyaipilskyi, Orihiv and Kamianskyi districts. Air reconnaissance was also carried out, hoping to identify the positions of the Armed Forces and adjust the fire.

Attempts of the invaders to advance towards Maryinka were repelled by our soldiers.

In addition, Russian engineering units are trying to restore destroyed or damaged bridges and crossings across the Dnipro in the South-Buz direction.

In this region, Russian soldiers are concentrating their main efforts on preserving previously occupied lines and preventing the advance of the Armed Forces. Shelling by the Russian Federation from barrel, rocket artillery, and tanks along the contact line was also recorded. The occupiers carried out airstrikes near Andriyivka and Bila Krynytsia, conducted aerial reconnaissance using UAVs.

Also, according to the information of the General Staff, Ukrainian servicemen nullified the actions of the invaders' reconnaissance groups in the Kharkiv, Slavyansk and Bakhmut directions< /strong>, causing losses to two of them. The assaults of the Russian army in Donbas were also stopped.
