The motivation for the ban is unclear.
The Russian sanctions “black list” includes at least 5 already deceased citizens of the United States of America, who are still banned from entering Russia. This is evidenced by the list itself, released on Saturday by the Russian Foreign Ministry.
Interestingly, the Russian government is aware of their deaths, but considers it necessary to maintain the sanctions regime. Among the 963 sanctioned Americans, the names of 5 people are marked “dead.” for which purpose the dead man should go to Russia.
