Poland has built a 140-kilometer wall on the border with Belarus. The Polish Border Guard Service announced this on Twitter and showed what the structure looks like.
“The first completed sections of the border barrier between Poland and Belarus have been collected. Reception of the rest continues. The spans are already 140 km long. The installation of the electronic barrier will begin in the coming days, “the statement reads.

Construction of the 1,500 km barrier began in September 2014. The project was later involved in a number of corruption scandals.
As of the end of May 2020, the readiness of the project was estimated at 40%. As of autumn 2021, the end of construction is planned for 2025.
Despite the incompleteness of this project in November last year, the Ministry of Internal Affairs said that Ukraine intends to build a wall on the border with Belarus and Russia strong>, the length of which will be 1 thousand kilometers. This statement was made by Interior Minister Denis Monastyrsky against the background of the migration crisis on the border between Belarus and Poland, as well as Russia's withdrawal of its military to the Ukrainian border. As a result, the latter began a full-scale invasion of our country on February 24, 2022.
